The University of Auckland School of Biodiversity and Biosecurity (formerly Geography, Geology & Environmental Science) each year has a Graduate Student Seminar Day, whereby post-graduate students give a presentation on their research.
Each year Central Auckland branch donates enough to make it a Gold Sponsor (along with four other gold sponsors including ARC and Auck Uni) for this MacDiamard Award.
The donation goes towards prize money for the student whose presentation is judged to be the best.
We also post information from the students on this website.
