Come along and hear about the main issues facing the region’s biodiversity and what we can do to protect it.
Presenters include Forest & Bird President Mark Hanger and Chief Executive Kevin Hague talking about Forest & Bird national matters and Dr Margaret Stanley from Auckland University who will give an informative and entertaining presentation on wildlife links and connections.
There will also be a workshop session and opportunities to discuss branch issues

9.30-10am – Dr Margaret Stanley University of Auckland: wildlife connections
10am-10.30 – Presentation: Overview of new and proposed legislation that will affect native biodiversity and ecosystems
10.30-11am – Tea/coffee break
11.00am-12.50 – Workshop: topics will include branch issues, and the implementation of the F&B Auckland/Northland Regional Plan 2016-21
