Mahoe-nui Plantcare Day - Upper Site

Help release me from all this grass!

We will be weeding any spring growth, mulching around the plants, and fixing up any cages and stakes.

Although we always start with the plants we have planted in the last year or two, there are hundreds of plants at the Upper site in need of releasing. So we really do appreciate your help at this releasing day and would appreciate any extra helpers as well!

The CCC provide sharp hedgeclippers and gloves. Please wear sturdy footwear, and bring sunhat or warm clothes as appropriate.

A delicious afternoon tea will be available afterwards for all the hard workers!!

There is limited parking at the Upper site so for this reason it would be great if you could carpool to the site, or else if parking at the site is full you could park at Evans Pass and walk up . For details on how to get to Mahoe-nui Bush Upper site, please click here.
