Sanctuary Waimakariri Restoration Project Working Bee

Our braided river project called 'The Sanctuary' is on the Waimakariri and is a partnership project with the Parks and Reserves team of Environment Canterbury, in particular with Greg Stanley, who has been doing wonderful work in the area.

We have working bees on the fourth Saturday of each month.

Wear sturdy footwear, warm clothing and bring garden gloves.

We park at the end of Coutts island road (see map for directions) and then walk into where the x is. We meet at the gate at 1:00pm and then head in together. Greg can come out and meet people if they give him a bell on 0277020811.
