Tuamotu sandpipers and Pacific ground-doves - kiwi flavoured conservation research and management

Dr Ray Pierce (on left in photo) grew up in South Canterbury, and is well known and respected especially for his research on black stilt/kaki in the Mackenzie Basin. Ray will talk about the contribution of South Islanders to past and present work in protecting Pacific island birds.

A warm welcome is extended to all members, and especially to new members and visitors. We meet at St John's Church hall, 125 Wai-iti Rd, Timaru.

A donation, ideally $5 or more, to cover hall hire and expenses would be appreciated.
