Our Northland branches are active in hands-on restoration projects, such as pest control at 5,500 hectare Puketi Forest, where North Island robins have been re-introduced.

Coastal protection, anti-mining campaigns and establishing marine reserves in biodiversity hotspots are just some of the activities that keep our branches busy in this area.

On top of this we're working to save the critically endangered Fairy tern by working to create an alternative nesting site on the Kaipara harbour over the next three years.

Our Arethusa Lodge in Northland is the perfect spot to enjoy birdlife amid a 14-hectare wetland reserve.
