Auckland Zoo Sharing Stories on one insect and two birds - Wētāpunga (giant wētā), kākāpo and Monarch at Fatu Hiva

Adriana, a keeper from Auckland Zoo will be joining us to talk about the natural history of Giant Wetapunga, our largest insect in Aotearoa, along with the details of the most recent and final collection of founders from Little Barrier Island, with an update on the success of the program. She will be accompanied by Jasmine, a bird keeper, who will be talking all things Kakapo: health checks, transmitter changes, and breeding season. She will also speak about her recent time in Fatu Hiva regarding the Zoo's involvement in the Monarch recovery programme. It will be an action-packed evening with lots of information.
