About us

Waitakere Branch

Our branch is very fortunate to be situated beside and in the wonderful Waitakere Ranges.

We have Evening Talks on the third Thursday of each month, February to November. We also offer a programme of Field Trips.

Think of  joining us:  if you have a skill or hobby from lobbying to walking, to enjoying our forest and birds, to writing emails to members, we have an opportunity for you to be involved. And the more volunteers we have the more we can accomplish.

Contact us at waitakere.branch@forestandbird.org.nz

We have an active KCC (Kiwi Conservation Club or Junior Forest & Bird)

Kids can join the Kiwi Conservation club to enjoy local nature based trips run by Kiwi Conservation Club volunteer coordinators. KCC members also receive a welcome pack and the fun and educational Wild Things magazine four times per year, plus monthly e-newsletters containing activity ideas. For further information about the club or to join please email: waitakere@kcc.org.nz
