Our health & safety vision
Working for nature is safe, healthy and enjoyable

Our health and safety policy statement

Forest & Bird is committed to ensuring that working for nature is safe, healthy and enjoyable. We believe that staying healthy and safe whilst working for nature must be practical and straightforward. We will support our workers* by providing the information and tools to achieve this in our Health and Safety Programme. Everyone working for nature has a role in maintaining a healthy and safe workplace through:

  • Valuing and prioritising health and safety.
  • Recognising that everyone has a responsibility to keep themselves and others in the workplace healthy and safe.
  • Using the health and safety programme and the tools it provides.

Nature needs your support

Supporting Forest & Bird is one of the best things you can do for New Zealand's environment. We need people like you to support us, so that nature will always have a voice.
