Forest & Bird's annual planting day of 1000 trees at the Ronga Reserve continues as usual at one of Marlborough's remnant forest gems with towering totara and matai.  Planting and ongoing forest restoration has been occurring at the site for over 10 years.   Wear solid footwear and appropriate clothing for the day, and bring spade and gloves.  We’ll have a BBQ lunch courtesy of DOC, so bring along a salad to share.  You’ll need your own plates, etc.

Meet on site at 10am, or if unsure of the location, at the Brick Oven, Rai Valley, at 9.45am to convoy to the site. Car sharing is strongly encouraged.

(Weather postponement date of Saturday 2nd September)
