To coincide with the release of our nature-themed stamps, we are hosting a talk: "Capturing Conservation History on a Stamp".
Tune in to hear our panel of speakers discuss the fascinating story behind each design and the elements of Forest & Bird's conservation mahi they represent.
The beautiful artworks by Te Whanganui-a-Tara Wellington-based artist Rachel Walker represent four areas of importance to Forest & Bird's history and our future conservation work: Kāpiti Island, Tautuku Ecological Sanctuary in the Catlins, Ark in the Park in the Waitākere Ranges, and Denniston Plateau on the West Coast.
Join us on Zoom at 7:30pm (NZT) on Wednesday, 26 April. Our panel of speakers for "Capturing Conservation History on a Stamp" includes Lynette Townsend (Stamp Design team lead at NZ Post) and Forest & Bird's project and regional conservation staff, Nicky Snoyink, Connor Wallace, Samantha Lincoln and Scott Burnett.
You can read more about the stamps here and order them here.
