A day of sharing and learning. How to trap predators and protect our native birds.
We have a packed day of skills based workshops, interactive talks and a guided tour of the Barrytown School trapping project by some of the school children.
We are pleased to welcome Kristel Van Houte Marine ecologist, Project Manager of the
Karioi Project and Co-Director of A Rocha NZ as our keynote speaker.
There will also be a kid's trapping corner for children to make tracking tunnels, weta motels, lizard lounges and paper models of native birds.
Morning and afternoon tea will be provided. Please bring a plate (with food on it!) for a shared potluck lunch.
This is a free community event and everyone is welcome.
To give us an idea of numbers attending please REGISTER.
