Bianca Ranson – Helping the Hauraki Gulf
Bianca Ranson (Ngapuhi, Ngati Kahu ki Whaingaroa) has joined the Forest & Bird team in a specific and important role as advocate for the Hauraki Gulf. Based on Waiheke, she has been working most recently on the campaign to protect the penguin colony from the work on the new Waiheke Marina. She also runs Potiki – tours on Waiheke sharing Maori art and cultural practice.
Bianca will be sharing some of the work she’s done and what she is planning to do to save our precious Hauraki Gulf – and what we can do to help.
