Our December presentation via Zoom will feature a native of the month from John Brown and a talk by Jacques de Satge. Jacques will focus on his research into how the banded rail uses the mangrove forest, and the challenges and solutions of monitoring such an elusive bird, which he is doing for his PhD in Conservation Biology at Massey University.
