Join Forest & Bird's Dunedin Branch for a pine hunt to remove wilding pines at the Manuherikia River's headwaters.
We will roam around the tussock reserves, up-rooting and cutting wildings before they seed.
There is an option to stay overnight and check for the return of river bed wading birds such as dotterel and South Island pied oystercathchers.
Transport can be provided.
