Sean Handley is a marine biologist working at NIWA in Nelson.  He will give a presentation on the history of changes to Nelson Bays.  Sean will share his knowledge of: the human history within the bays captured by sediment cores; surveys of the effects of fishing; surveys carried out around the Nelson Boulder Bank; biodiversity surveys; and his interest in the plight of shellfish in the bays.
