Last employed as our Society's Chief Conservation Officer, Kevin began his activist career at age 15 when he campaigned against the Forest Service's plans to log native forests in the West Coast. Continuing the fight against government plans for beech forests in the 1970s, he was key in securing cooperation between our Society and the more active conservation group, NFAC, where he worked closely with investigative journalist Nicky Hager.

Kevin will share personal stories, his opponents' tactics, and lessons learned over decades of activism.

Supper and a chat afterwards.
