In support of North Canterbury branch's aim for stronger engagement in marine conservation, committee member Dr. Lorna Deppe has prepared a report taking stock of the issues our region is facing and identifying areas or projects where the North Canterbury branch could either offer support or take the lead.

We would like to present these options to our members for discussion in order to narrow down what our branch is both capable and willing to do with your help.

The report was first mooted by our previous chairperson Colleen Philips in memory of the late Hendrikje Buss who was a committee member for a number of years and was a champion of marine conservation.

Supper and a chat afterwards.
