Build a giant sandcastle in the shape of your favourite seabird while learning about the threats they face and what you can do to help protect them!

This fun, family-friendly action is a chance to celebrate the seabirds that call Otago home, while calling on the government and fishing industry to take action to reduce the bycatch of seabirds throughout Aotearoa/New Zealand.

Meet by the St Kilda Surf Club on John Wilson Drive at 11:30am. Bring a picnic lunch, water, buckets and spades, sunhat, sunscreen, and warm clothes if needed. If it’s raining, we will postpone until Wednesday.

Please sign up so we can get in touch if there is a postponement or cancellation.
