We're having a party to write submissions in support of marine protected areas off the coast of Otago — and you're invited!

Political Action is one of the most important things we can do. The Department of Conservation is currently consulting on the development of the South Eastern marine reserves, which protect the marine areas around Dunedin.

Come chat with Students for Environmental Action Ōtepoti (SEA), Forest & Bird Dunedin and the Otago University Students Association and write a submission.

We will be covering why the marine reserve is important, what feedback you can include in your submission and some tips on how to write a great submission. We will also have food available to fuel you while we discuss, write and learn.

Nature needs your support

Supporting Forest & Bird is one of the best things you can do for New Zealand's environment. We need people like you to support us, so that nature will always have a voice.
