Bring lunch, binoculars, warm clothes, gardening gloves, small spades and grubbers (if you have them — we will also have some tools available).

Fairy prions/tītī wainui are small seabirds found throughout New Zealand. Spending most of their lives at sea, they come ashore to nest in burrows on the ground which makes them vulnerable to predation. In 2011, volunteers built a fence to protect the breeding colony at St Clair where predator control, habitat restoration and research continues to this day.
