This is a great opportunity to learn about the history of our beloved mountain. Local historian and teacher, Peter Scott will lead us around and to the summit of Mauao, and we will stop for stories at many vantage points.
Meet promptly at 10am in front of the Mount Maunganui Surf Lifesaving Club.
Bring lunch and drink, walking shoes, warm clothing and a sunhat. This is not a suitable walk for young children.
