About Us
Our Branch encompasses a very diverse area from an environmental, ecological, geological and geographical perspective, extending from Dannevirke to Fielding, Palmerston North and beyond.
Meetings
Our branch holds public talks on the 2nd Tuesday of each month (February to December).
Meetings are at 7:30 p.m. in the Palmerston North City Library on George Street.
Bordered on two sides by the Ruahine and Tararua Ranges, our region contains the headwaters of the Manawatu river, as well as much of the river course and flood plain, and includes the unique Manawatu Gorge.
The Branch has roughly 500 members working together to help enhance or restore the environment. Our Branch encompasses a very diverse area from an environmental, ecological, geological and geographical perspective, extending from Dannevirke to Feilding, Palmerston North and beyond.
