Forest & Bird Dunedin is passionate about advocating for effective change for nature in Dunedin and the wider Otago area.

The branch regularly makes submissions to local government on a range of topics such as freshwater, predator control, and land management. We also do advocacy on conservation issues that matter to Dunedin and Otago communities.

Otago Regional Council is seeking community feedback on its new Land and Water Plan for Otago's lakes, rivers, and streams. This new plan will be a powerful tool for how water is managed in Otago for years to come.
