The Wellington Branch of Forest & Bird will be hosting Feathers & Foliage – An exhibition celebrating 100 years of Forest & Bird.

From Tuesday 25 July to Saturday 29 July, art pieces inspired by nature will be exhibited at the Thistle Hall, 293 Cuba Street. The exhibition will feature a variety of artwork from Wellington’s artists, all of whom have been inspired by the natural beauty of our country.
The event will continue from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm each day, and on Friday 28 July will be open later until 7:00 pm. Admission is free.
The artwork on display includes portraits of native flora and fauna, nature-inspired children's books, jewelry and photography so there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
In addition, everything exhibited will be available for purchase at the event. If you find a piece that you absolutely love, you can take it home with you that day.
