Walking tracks: There are three tracks in this 9 hectare reserve,offering various walking times: 10mins, 30mins, and 1hr.
Mangaroa Wetland is a 300ha peatland in Mangarao Valley. We are currently trying to get this area protected as a Significant Natural Area and have all farming and development activity stopped.

Arethusa Reserve is an example of a rare dune lake ecosystem. The dry and sandy perimeter of this area has formed the sides of a shallow basin that collects rain to create a shallow lake and wetlands.

Pelorus Bridge Scenic Reserve, or Te Hoiere, is home to one of the last remaining populations of long tailed bats in Marlborough.
This volunteer group manages 500 hectares of native forest in the Kaimai Mamaku Conservation Park, between Tauranga and Katikati.
There is one circuit track on the reserve that takes approximately one hour to walk. From this track you can access the old fence track and the brow track.
The Branch operates a native shrub and tree nursery in Hastings. Volunteers meet at the Nursery most Tuesday mornings caring for plants propagated from seed sourced by the volunteers.
Walking Tracks: A walking track has been recently opened and marked out in this reserve, following a successful 20-year planting program carried out by the Waikato Branch.
